Roblox claims that she was fired because they found out she was using her workplace computer to dig up personal information about her coworkers and this affected her job performance. However, she claims that the only reason they are saying this is because they found out about her blog post and didn't want the bad publicity. Roblox also provided an email that Chris sent to HR in May of 2017 regarding erratic hours. She says that it was just a single complaint and wasn't fired for it.

On November 10, 2014, ROBLOX launched an inviteonly beta for the virtual currency Robux. It was released to a small fraction of its user base whose accounts had been verified by Robotcrab, Inc. The currency was named after ROBLOX's mascot. All games and item purchases could only be made with Robux. The overall value of Robux is dependent on ROBUX exchange rates in the game itself; however, all players are guaranteed to receive the same amount of Robux at the same time regardless of their financial situation or how they choose to use them.

On July 31st 2019, ROBLOX announced they would no longer be supporting this feature, and will be removing all games that are now using this physics system from the ROBLOX Catalog. This will affect nearly every game and millions of gameplay hours into future. The reason why they are discontinuing the feature is because most games with custom physics settings were [[Rage Quiters's favorite targets, and almost all of them are either unplayable or broken due to Roblox's buggy physics engine.

ROBLOX Studio 2.0: On December 28th 2018, ROBLOX announced a new version of their Studio known as "Studio 2.0". The company claims that it is meant to be a new version of their previous releases which contains many improvements and better tools. It also allows users to earn cash if they choose to sell their items in the catalog.[91] On January 1st, 2019, ROBLOX updated the game and added a feature which allowed users to get an early access for Studio 2.0.

In a response, Roblox stated that the employee who did this was dismissed after a thorough investigation and that they are committed to making improvements to their workplace environment. Chris Misner also stated that she suffered retaliation from other Roblox employees for contacting the media and posting about her experiences with the company.
